I don’t know which is better. Checking my email and finding, “You have sponsored a new member” or checking my email and have a person thank me for being so helpful and asking for advice. I get great satisfaction from both of those types of emails. There are some great ways to gain loyalty from your affiliates that will help you to become a better sponsor and help your affiliates become more motivated and ultimately find success with their home business.
· You’re motivation needs to be contagious. There is nothing better than sharing your excitement about your home business and having your affiliates respond in kind. Share your successes and joys. During a slow period, give them ideas to pick up their business. You can exchange article ideas with them and each person can submit an article to www.ezinearticles.com. By doing this you are creating an advertising blitz for your home business and motivating your affiliates for the eventual outcome.
· You have to constantly be in touch and give helpful information. Any internet marketer, from the newbie to advanced marketer wants to know something more to better their business. There are always new techniques coming out to bring more traffic and the more you can advice you can give your affiliates the more loyalty you will gain. They will work harder for you and for their business. Also remember, your affiliates will appreciate the lower cost methods to promote. It becomes too much and frankly obnoxious if you are constantly telling them how they can spend more money.
· Give a freebie now and then. Until you are personally making some money, its not feasible to do this but when you are able, it’s a very good idea to offer to pay for a set of leads, a one month upgrade to a traffic exchange or even offer them one of your affiliates if transfers are available within your program. You must choose the affiliate that you believe will take that offer and really do something with it, but that can truly motivate them and in the end will benefit you.
· Call your affiliates. A phone call can make a very big difference. This lets them know that you are accessible and taking even more time to spend with them to help them succeed. It’s really a small gesture that can end with big results.
· Start an official training set of emails. Once you are in this business for awhile, there is knowledge you have gained that can help others. Write down a bulleted list of all the things you do to promote your program and brand yourself. Then go ahead and write a set of emails to send out that explain each of your bullets. Now you have truly helped your affiliates and you are on your way to growing a very powerful downline.
Take some time and try some of these methods. Keep working at being a better sponsor and you will notice a difference in the motivation and work ethic of your affiliates. It’s a win-win situation and everyone grows from this process.
