There Really Are People You Can Trust In This Business
Filed Under Home Business | Posted on April 18, 2009
Believe me when I say it, it is true. This is not a marketing/business type of post. It’s more for people who are skeptical. Heck, I don’t even have any key word phrases in mind (which I often do so my posts are spidered by the search engines). I just want to make a point to people who are too nervous about doing any business online or who are afraid that every marketer is out for themselves and has no problem giving them a line of BS.
I’m telling you because I know. Surely, it is very easy to be taken by someone who is good at what they do and don’t have a single good intention. I’ve been taken by a few of those people but have learned from my mistakes. The key words here are learn from mistakes….get that….learn….do not repeat!!!
How do you know someone can be or is in fact trustworthy? Well, that is really a loaded question because you can have great friends, family members, boyfriends or girlfriends who turn out not to be trustworthy at all. Let’s just keep it in this context.
Can you call that person and speak to them? Personally, I think that is huge. Many people who I have in my downlines in different programs have spoken to me first. Not just by phone but via skype or some regular sort of contact. I guess I’m using “spoken” loosely. You need to be able to have contact with that person and know they are willing to help. Otherwise…..well….you are on your own.
Can they give you some realistic and what seems to be honest observations and experiences with the company they are promoting? This is also huge. As a regular reader and poster on forums, I can totally see who is only posting about what is good and giving the readers the idea that it’s always that way. Oh boy, that is a huge red flag and I can list the programs and promoters right here but I will not. You can always email me to find out though.
The last thing I want to mention (for this post at least) is the intuition factor. It’s totally important to be on your toes and have all your senses extremely active when trying to get to know and get a sense of people online. Sincerity can be difficult to judge but its not at all impossible. You know it when you see it and hear it. If something rubs you the wrong way then go with that feeling. If something draws you to that person then there may be more there. You in fact may be correct.
Come on, think about it, you are in cyberspace and hopefully you are not a teenager. Look into these people and check them out like you would if you were meeting a new friend, business associate, date, whatever. You have to use all your senses and you will be surprised at what you can find out about someone….even if you may never actually meet them.
You can gain a life long friend and associate and have a very mutually beneficial relationship in this very strange but almost commonplace online world. It’s totally possible to meet people in this business that you can trust…..I promise you that…..I have and I’m extremely thankful!
Until the next time…..

Laura,
I am in your downline with JVG. Mike Breszinski is my sponsor. Mike was good enough to place two people under me, although I have not been able to sign up one single referral on my own. I advertise many of my sites on different traffic exchanges and I seem to get signups with some of them, but not with JVG, so far. But, I won’t give up on trying. Maybe it’s the $98.00 start-up fee that scares them off.
I just joined a new one on the recommendation of a trusted friend from Vancouver, BC. She knows the admin. personally, Frank Buck, who is an attorney, specializing in offshore banking and corporations. The company is WAG, or World Asset Growth. My link is: http://www.worldassetgrowth.com/?ref=moneyhoney
If you’re not familiar with it, please take a look at it and let me know what you think. I value your opinion and any comments you may wish to offer.

I would be interested in finding out more about some of the passive programs and investment programs you refer to. Not that I have a lot to invest, mind you. I live on my social security check and a small pension, which goes to pay for my supplemental health insurance.
LIke you, I have made many friends on the Internet. I have about six, or eight, who trust me and have followed me into programs. If they find a good one before I do, and I think it’s worthwhile, I will join under them.
