Is It Really All About Duplication - The Reverse Funnel System

I have been going over the idea of duplication with regards to affiliate programs and especially The Reverse Funnel System. The promises are that once you have thewebsite with lawn chair guy and the back end office tools (which are pretty extensive I admit), then that should be all you need to really get your new home business moving.
Training is provided as well and there are conference calls headed up by experienced marketers to help guide you through. This is still not enough, especially for the newbie with dreams of working from home full time and maybe even having their picture in the lawn chair instead of Ty Coughlin’s! How are they supposed to have their website seen and noticed amongst the thousands of websites all ready out there?
There are ways to get yourself noticed and I am sure The Reverse Funnel System training includes the important things to start the newbie off in the right direction. But is that enough to make enough sales to cover your monthly costs and put you in the lawn chair? It is not enough.
It is more about how your sponsor can send you in the right direction and provide some real one-on-one training for you. I believe that in many instances, the sponsor-affiliate relationship is often more like the blind leading the blind. That is bound to happen with so many people trying to start a home business without any expereince whatsoever.
Do not get me wrong though. I believe most people who have the desire can learn how to find success with their home business, it just requires time, effort and ideally some one-on-one training.
A successful sponsor is not all that is needed. A sponsor who is willing to take time out of their day to help their downline find success is the best way to go. Ideally, if a potential sign up could “interview” their potential sponsor, they could get an idea if they will be stranded once they actually put their money down or will have access to their sponsor’s knowledge.
Personally, I send an email to all my potential affiliates with my phone number. I always offer that I will call them or they can call me to ask questions about the program or about how to really get started. I speak to people almost daily and have had affiliates who will only sign with me because of this.
The key is this sharing of knowledge and ideas with a personal touch does work and is duplicable. I’ve seen the work of some of my downline members who are having success or on their way.
I believe this is what it takes to see success with duplication. It is not just a high end back office with all the bells and whistles. Its a dedicated sponsor who is just as devoted to help their affiliates find success as they are for themselves. Then I can see how The Reverse Funnel System could work for the masses.

Training Your Downline - Now Everyone Makes Money

I have fairly recently become an internet marketer and home business owner. It is not my full time job yet. It is something I have become passionate about and want to become of the best at this line of work.
Since I have a downline in my two main programs, The Berry Tree and The RIOY System, it has become increasingly important to me to make sure my downline finds success in this business. I do realize that it will affect me financially if they don’t, but in my conscience I want them to succeed for their own personal success.
I decided to do more than just worry about it though. I am making myself more responsible for their success by offering a training. I started with the basics which don’t seem so basic when you are first starting a new affiliate program.
I did not ever think of registering at business forums in order to learn more about this business. Frankly, I did not know business forums existed. My downline knows about them and I have seen them on forums and was frankly surprised and proud at the same time. The people in my downline know about starting a blog to “brand” yourself and have heard of Squidoo. They are learning basic HTML for article writing and know the long term benefits of submitting to ezines and are learning about writing a catchy resource box.
Within a few months I know many of my downline will start seeing sign ups and be advertising on their own. I have let the know the importance of speaking to their downline and offering to speak to potential downline members. Each and every one of them is learning and trying to learn more and more.
It has only been a relatively short time that I have been doing this and I am seeing such excitement amongst the great people I am working with. It is very gratifying and motivating for me because I know I am doing the right thing.
I would have loved to have this same kind of attention and I think it is the best way to do business these days. The personal touch is what is going to make a difference in the future.

I have personally never heard of anyone who started a home business, whether it was online or offline, and was able to quit their job in less than a month. I will also venture to say that it is virtually impossible to make even a few thousand a month after starting a home business in less than a year. The entire process takes time. It takes patience and a true desire to succeed and the willingness to learn and do whatever it will take to succeed.
To truly benefit from any affiliate program in a reasonable amount of time, you will have to spend some money to belong to these programs. There is not a program available where you can join for free and reap the same benefits as a paid member. It is not possible and I challenge anyone to tell me of such a program. You don’t have to spend exorbitant amounts of money but you will have to allow for money to spend monthly.
After joining an affiliate program, you cannot expect to see a downline right away. Even if a company sends you leads (like RIOY) you have to work your magic on those leads. You must let them know that you are potentially their sponsor and encourage them to take the next step with your help.
You cannot give up on a program in just a few months. When you do that you are joining the great percentage of people who fail with home businesses. You chose not to stick it out. This business is not easy but you can find success if you give yourself some time.
Visit forums and ask questions. Contact your upline and if they are not responsive then contact their upline. Every program you join will give you access to your geneology and most people will be happy to help you.
Do not give up. Have patience. Give success a try.

I don’t know which is better. Checking my email and finding, “You have sponsored a new member” or checking my email and have a person thank me for being so helpful and asking for advice. I get great satisfaction from both of those types of emails. There are some great ways to gain loyalty from your affiliates that will help you to become a better sponsor and help your affiliates become more motivated and ultimately find success with their home business.
· You’re motivation needs to be contagious. There is nothing better than sharing your excitement about your home business and having your affiliates respond in kind. Share your successes and joys. During a slow period, give them ideas to pick up their business. You can exchange article ideas with them and each person can submit an article to www.ezinearticles.com. By doing this you are creating an advertising blitz for your home business and motivating your affiliates for the eventual outcome.
· You have to constantly be in touch and give helpful information. Any internet marketer, from the newbie to advanced marketer wants to know something more to better their business. There are always new techniques coming out to bring more traffic and the more you can advice you can give your affiliates the more loyalty you will gain. They will work harder for you and for their business. Also remember, your affiliates will appreciate the lower cost methods to promote. It becomes too much and frankly obnoxious if you are constantly telling them how they can spend more money.
· Give a freebie now and then. Until you are personally making some money, its not feasible to do this but when you are able, it’s a very good idea to offer to pay for a set of leads, a one month upgrade to a traffic exchange or even offer them one of your affiliates if transfers are available within your program. You must choose the affiliate that you believe will take that offer and really do something with it, but that can truly motivate them and in the end will benefit you.
· Call your affiliates. A phone call can make a very big difference. This lets them know that you are accessible and taking even more time to spend with them to help them succeed. It’s really a small gesture that can end with big results.
· Start an official training set of emails. Once you are in this business for awhile, there is knowledge you have gained that can help others. Write down a bulleted list of all the things you do to promote your program and brand yourself. Then go ahead and write a set of emails to send out that explain each of your bullets. Now you have truly helped your affiliates and you are on your way to growing a very powerful downline.
Take some time and try some of these methods. Keep working at being a better sponsor and you will notice a difference in the motivation and work ethic of your affiliates. It’s a win-win situation and everyone grows from this process.

I recently started a home business and have seen some very interesting changes since I began with The Plug In Profit Site program about 5 months ago. Now the newer programs are using a portion of their monthly fees to do the advertising for the affiliates.
Take The Berry Tree. It costs about $55 a month for the 02 product (which will soon be The Berry Greens Boost). It really is the advertising that you are paying for though. The great thing about it is your monthly costs are reduced by $7 after the first 2 month, $14 after the first four and so on. Pretty soon, you are not paying a monthly fee and the rest is profit. Please take into account this is if you are not doing anything to promote and are just paying the bill.
With The RIOY (Retire In One Year) System, the advertising is done for you by the RIOY marketing people and you pay for that. You enroll in 2 affiliate programs and you get leads and sign ups right away. I can attest to that because I had leads the first day I signed up.
These programs are absolutely perfect for people who are new to internet marketing because they will get the results without having to do much work. While they are starting to earn from these programs, the novice can start researching and reading and learning the ropes.
If someone joins a program like RIOY or The Berry Tree and they know about internet marketing or all ready have a home business, then the success in these programs will happen more quickly. With The Berry Tree I am almost completely in profit and with The RIOY system I won’t be paying for my first month with Traffic Wave because I have a sign up. What could be better than that?
I honestly believe these programs are the wave of the future for the newer generation of home business owners. You just have to choose the right one.
Do your research on forums, ripoff reports and blogs about all these programs before you sign up. Make sure there is some type of guarantee. Then dive right in!

There is a learning curve when you are starting a home business, especially with affiliate programs. With affiliate programs, you are one member among many people who are striving for the same goal. You are selling a program, a product or both and you want to be noticed. You want people to see your website and feel convinced that they should sign up under you or buy from you. So how do you accomplish this not so easy task?
1) You must start a blog. Write well and write often. Since search engines are always looking for new content. Write about your affiliate program, the product, your experience and journey about marketing on the internet. Post on your blog at least 2 to 3 times a week.
2) Submit your articles to ezines. There is almost no better way to become noticed as an expert in your niche than by submitting articles to ezines and being published. The best ezines are read by thousands of people daily and there are people who will want to read what you write. The resource box that is included with your article is an invaluable way to have people come to your website. You can use some of the same posts from your blog, change them around a bit and possibly write them a little more formally.
3) Get more backlinks. Aside from your resource box as a backlink, the more you post on forums, answer Yahoo questions, or give testimonials when you use a service, you will get a backlink. These are free ways to advertise your site and will inevitably drive more traffic to your site. Once again, it is easy and free.
4) Do free advertising classifieds. These are free advertising websites where you post your ad just as you would in a newspaper or magazine. These are great because thousands of people really do read them and for many is their first stop when looking for a great deal. Try www.freeadvertisingexchange.com or www.usfreeads.
If you take these steps you would be surprised how quickly to can get through that learning curve. Also, for those of you are intimidated by writing, the more you do it the better you will get.
Affiliate Marketing Do’s and Don’ts

The popularity of affiliate marketing is on the rise and many people with absolutely no marketing or home business experience are getting in on it. New affiliate programs are popping up daily. It can be overwhelming and it is easy to jump into programs that sound great and offer instant money with little or no time requirement. So what should you do, or not do for that matter?
Do your research. Read the Ripoff Report and the Scam Report. Before you pay someone $47 or $97 (the typical prices), do your homework. Do a Google search on the names that are associated with these affiliate programs to find out more because people have blogs and articles where they mention programs that have ripped them off.
Do visit marketing and business forums. This is probably the most effective way to learn from others who are succeeding in business. I read and post to forums daily and have learned about everything from how to write an article to the best advertising methods and many things in between. Just do another google search on business and marketing forums and register and start reading. Try to allocate some time each day for this and you will be amazed at how much insight you will gain.
Do talk to people in this business. On many forums, you have access to send a personal message to someone whose ideas and comments interest you. I emailed several people and asked if they would speak to me so that I could ask questions. It was one of the best things I have done because you get a more personal view on this business and many people will tell you what they did wrong and what they did right.
Don’t join too many affiliate programs at once. Just stick to that program and learn it inside, outside and upside down. In the beginning, it really does not make sense to overextend. There is too much information to absorb, especially if you are new, and it may cause you to give up too soon.
Don’t think that you are going to find success right away. It just does not happen in reality. Do not be discouraged if you are not seeing your PayPal account grow in a week or in a month. Take a reality check. There are millions of people out there selling and many will have more experience than you. The key is that many of them started as beginners too (like me). It takes time and that is all there is to it.
Follow the do’s and do not do the don’ts and you will be closer to that goal of having a successful home based business. If you check the links on the right you will see some of the ways that I finally learned how to make money online with absolutely no experience whatsoever. It is the real deal!
