Starting Anew Again

Wow…it has been such a long time. Talk about life lessons and changes (typically my favorite posts to write), other than internet home business ideas of course. What a great thing it is to be a grown up with choices. I have them and have been making them….hopefully wise ones but we do not really know….ever I think. That is not so right, you do know when they are wise and not so wise, when something is revealed that answers that question.
Enough of that nonsense. I have been blessed with choices. I am now working from home and couldn’t be happier about that option that was handed to me literally. Keep in mind that I did not work for that option. I keep that in mind all the time. It was a blessing. Thank you Mom.
I have gone through a very turbulent period as of late trying to make some decisions about the whole working from home process. I have researched internet businesses, joined some, bypassed some, stayed, left and made and lost some money. I think anyone who has researched these opportunities would have had these same experiences as well.
The best part is all I have learned…and I have learned a lot! You absolutely have to acknowledge that you will not always make the best decisions at first. There is no way you can do it right the first time. But then you take some steps to find out what you did wrong or what you can do to better your chances.
I am not down at all on affiliate programs, but I just want to find the right ones to promote. In these turbulent times, people are not so willing to give up their hard earned money and rightfully so. You absolutely have to talk to people again and again. Find people you can trust and literally call them if they give you that access. It is imperative. Then maybe go for it.
Truthfully, and I mean this sincerely, the passive investment programs/opportunities are the major way to go….at least for now. These programs have allowed me to quit my job/career and live comfortably. So much for the mainstream……say goodbye to that. There are other ways that we can exist and really live. It’s actually a blast to talk to people who do this for a living and become part of this group. It has opened up such a huge realm of possibilities. The people are really cool too!! No kidding.
There really is a way to start anew on the internet even in these tough economic times. What am I saying? You can start anew whether its on the internet or just in your life in general. I am going to go all out and say embrace new things, step out of the box and do something you may not normally do (within reason and the law of course)!
Start anew again, again and again until it works. That is what I am doing!!

Many of us who are trying to promote an internet home business use forums as a means of free advertising and to learn more from other marketers. It really is like an online course in so many ways. I’ve had learned so much about internet marketing and affiliate, MLM and investment opportunities through forums alone.
You can make great connections through forums and inevitably make some invaluable business contacts. I have “met” a few people online who have majorly helped me along the way.
Doesn’t sound too much like a rant though…does it. Now here goes…on the MMG forum at http://www.moneymakergroup.com/forums.html or something like that there is a complete asshole who has provoked me into writing this post. The anonymity of the internet lets people hide behind their computers and let’s their true personna come out. These people are often to cowardly to act that way in real life.
On forums, most of us try to promote our own programs on threads specific to our company and will maybe comment on another thread in order to learn more. Most of us try to stay above board and actually try to provide an intellectual tone.
Not this asshole. Should I say his name? Why not….no one knows him. Well maybe towards the end. This guy constantly posts on other threads and essentially puts anyone who promotes anything else down. He never provides a comment that would give food for thought…just nasty, mean and completely unintellectual.
He has done it to me and commented on things I was promoting, but what really pissed me off is I have been reading his posts lately on every thread and he does it to everyone. It doesn’t seem the guy has an intelligent bone in his body and uses anyway he can to put everyone down.
This is what not to do when posting on forums. You will not make friends or connections this way. It will not happen. You only lose respect and when you need help in this cyber community people will turn on you too.
Here is to you. Let’s just say his name starts with an O and ends with an R. Maybe you can get a life and stop needling people but rather contribute in a positive way. If the world were filled with people like you we would be in a hopeless situation.

Just try to research home based business opportunities, making money online, internet home business or any configuration of those terms and you will find endless pages of information and often hype about thousands of home based business opportunities. I have been in a few and want to review Liberty Health Net because of its sustainability and track record.
Liberty Health Net was incorporated in February of 2001 and started shipping products in June of that year. Jim Price is the owner and Shelley Feree, a former nurse is the company President. The founder was looking for a more realistic and “doable” way for people to make an honest income from home with a respectable online company. Apparently the search was not going in the direction they wanted and instead chose to start a company of their own which became Liberty Health Net.
Liberty Health Net is often termed “the people’s company” because of the attention given to its affiliates and customers. Jim Price was looking to start something that would be affordable for most everyone and would eventually get people to the point where they could make an income that would either supplement their current income or replace it.
The payplan was key to bringing people into LHN. The founders wanted a payplan that is not based on group volume but rather on percentages from a 4×5 forced matrix. Essentially that means that a partner can make commissions from someone they did not personally sponsor.
Jim Price came up with a payplan that would sustain the newbie to marketing as well as the expert marketer. Here is a brief summary of the payplan. With LHN, distributors are paid a 60% commission on their personal referral’s first order. That can be anywhere from $18 to $60. After that, commissions are paid to the upline depending on where the person is in their matrix.
The commissions are paid through 5 levels. Level 1 pays 5%, Level 2 pays 10%, Level 3 pays 10%, Level 4 pays 40% and Level 5 pays 10%. A full matrix is attainable but I wouldn’t speak in those terms until one is committed to the program and ready to work it for the long term. As an internet marketer, it is best to set some smaller more attainable goals and when those are realized you shoot for the stars.
Setting aside the payment plan, LHN does provide a variety of websites and a very sophisticated backoffice that includes training and a myriad of free and paid resources to market your business. There is a question and answer forum as well for all members to bounce off ideas, ask questions and learn from each other.
The essence and ideas behind Liberty Health Net are very solid and well planned. It has been around for nearly 8 years and in the internet marketplace, that can be considered to be a well established company.

Back in January of this year I was named one of the top 25 women bloggers to watch in 2008 by Heidi Richardson, the founder of WECAI (Women’s Ecommerce Association International). I was number 5 and I had only been blogging since the end of August of 2007. I was more than flattered and it really gave me some major inspiration to really work this business and write to tell people about my experiences in business and in life.
A lot has happened since then. Before I go on though I have to say that though I love to write I really can only do it when I’m inspired. I wrote a post a few weeks ago that I am having a very difficult time finding my inspiration but I know that will pass in time. I’m giving myself time.
Besides the passing of my mother and hero, a lot has changed with my internet home business. I have learned so much about marketing and have been in profit for a long time. Thankfully, I have made some great connections in business with people who are very successful and have helped me along the way. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I’ve learned about passive income programs which I may write a post about very soon. Some of these programs, along with my primary businesses are allowing me to quit my job in less than 2 weeks. It’s been an amazing journey.
The biggest changes though this year have been in my soul. I’ve learned more this year than any time in my life about people who matter and people who don’t. People who really care about you and people who pretend for their own reasons. People who have class from deep down in their hearts and souls and people who are able to pretend for their own benefit.
This does not make me sad. It has empowered me because I know more than ever what to look for in any human being. It gives me strength.
Now I look at my mom’s example and goodness for strength and the way to conduct myself in my own life. Now that is real inspiration. Maybe I can get back to what I should be doing.
I think this is going to be a very good year. Thank you Heidi for acknowledging my work and most importantly thank you mom for inspiring me.
