Starting an internet home business is not so far fetched anymore. More and more people are learning about the value of doing this and don’t really have to take much out of pocket to do it. If you can find the best internet home business for you, it is well worth the trial and expense and can definitely help you to secure your financial future. I have fairly recently become an internet marketer and home business owner. It is not my full time job yet. It is something I have become passionate about and want to become of the best at this line of work.
Since I have a downline in my two main programs, The Berry Tree and The RIOY System, it has become increasingly important to me to make sure my downline finds success in this business. I do realize that it will affect me financially if they don’t, but in my conscience I want them to succeed for their own personal success.
I decided to do more than just worry about it though. I am making myself more responsible for their success by offering a training. I started with the basics which don’t seem so basic when you are first starting a new affiliate program.
I did not ever think of registering at business forums in order to learn more about this business. Frankly, I did not know business forums existed. My downline knows about them and I have seen them on forums and was frankly surprised and proud at the same time. The people in my downline know about starting a blog to “brand” yourself and have heard of Squidoo. They are learning basic HTML for article writing and know the long term benefits of submitting to ezines and are learning about writing a catchy resource box.
Within a few months I know many of my downline will start seeing sign ups and be advertising on their own. I have let the know the importance of speaking to their downline and offering to speak to potential downline members. Each and every one of them is learning and trying to learn more and more.
It has only been a relatively short time that I have been doing this and I am seeing such excitement amongst the great people I am working with. It is very gratifying and motivating for me because I know I am doing the right thing.
I would have loved to have this same kind of attention and I think it is the best way to do business these days. The personal touch is what is going to make a difference in the future.

I wanted to write a great post today and I will. First though, I said I would keep you updated on my progress with the RIOY system. I have been with the program for less than 3 weeks now and today I had my second sign-up! That means that I won’t be paying for TrafficWave for another 2 months and my level 1 downline is almost full.
I don’t know about Bigorilla yet because everyone signs up under the “quick income” specialist, Linda Acosta and the money then trickles down to the members. We are supposed to earn about $20 for the first month with Bigorilla which covers that cost. I have not been with the program long enough to vouch for that though.
Essentially, I am only paying for RIOY marketing now which is $35 and well worth the money. The fact that I have had 15 leads in less than 3 weeks is pretty impressive.

I recently started a home business and have seen some very interesting changes since I began with The Plug In Profit Site program about 5 months ago. Now the newer programs are using a portion of their monthly fees to do the advertising for the affiliates.
Take The Berry Tree. It costs about $55 a month for the 02 product (which will soon be The Berry Greens Boost). It really is the advertising that you are paying for though. I told you all that I would let you know of my progress and here it is!
I am having a problem with my Bigorilla account but have written to support and I’m waiting for a response. I will make a couple of calls today about that as well.
On a more positive note, I have my first sign up today and so I will not be paying for TrafficWave this month. How exciting is that and its only been 2 weeks since I signed up.
Now I have mentioned that I am promoting this program as well so I am not taking the hands off approach. If the RIOY system continues to work this way, then we have a true winner on our hands.

I never considered a career change. I am a math teacher, was inspired by one of my high school math teachers and have had some effect on students that I have taught. Being a math teacher was my calling and I loved every most aspects of my profession. I taught math while I was in the Peace Corps. I taught in American schools overseas, exclusive independent schools in the States, highly rated public schools in Westchester county in New York and now in a special act district for students with special needs.
I have learned, given and received so much from all of my experiences. I couldn’t get enough of learning more about math education and how to do a better job as a teacher.
For financial reasons, I had to find a way to supplement my income. I turned to the internet and researched the possible ways to make money online, to make money from home using skills that I know I had.
I found that I love to write and I love to market and promote. Who knew? I had somewhat of a negative view of this business because I had absolutely know understanding of what it entails. It’s all about encouragement, creativity and support. Not so different than the skills required to be a teacher….am I right?
I’ve found another profession that I love. I look forward to coming home to send out letters, write articles, answer emails, and post as a moderator on a forum.
I’m giving and receiving in a completely different way now but it is truly one of the best feelings I have had as a professional working woman.
I’m telling you that it is never too late to make a change. I love this profession and I have a new found passion for writing. The fact that others have recognized it makes it so much more encouraging and frankly, just fun!
Find what you love to do and just do it.

As any internet marketer knows, building and keeping your list is one of the most important ways to help your business grow. But how do you make that connection to keep the people on your list loyal?
1) Keep in touch regularly. Write an email to see if they have questions or want to know more about a program or product.
2) Give out insider information. Let them know some of the secrets to your success. Send them a welcome letter that they can use to welcome their own affiliates.
3) Send them links for free Ebooks and URLs of websites where they can attain more information on starting a successful home business.
4) Send your list a list of websites where they can advertise their sites for free. Give them all the best advertising methods they can use for as little cost as possible. They will appreciate the fact that you are not selling, but instead, helping them grow their own business.
5) Email them an interesting article that you have written or an article that might help them learn more about building their own home business. If it is not yours, make sure you credit the author!!!!
6) Give a phone number where you can be reached. This can be a little difficult for some people to digest, but a phone call could be the exact thing some people need for that extra reassurance.
7) Send them emails that have a “training program” feel. Send an email about some basic HTML or how to start a blog. This may give your list more inspiration to sign up and branch out on their own.
These connections are so important in building a rapport with your list as well as building your own reputation as a sponsor, marketer and business person. Keep the mailings simple and sincere. Do it regularly and always invite interaction. Make more sales!

RIOY-The Retire In One Year System

I joined the RIOYsystem on January 1, 2008. The founder of this program guarantees that you will be making $4000 a month within a year’s time if you stick with the program. More about the guarantee later.
The RIOY program is comprised of three elements: Traffic Wave (the core program and long term money maker), Bigorilla (the quick income program) and RIOY marketing.
RIOY marketing spends thousands of dollars a month on advertising (part of your monthly fee pay for that) and when someone signs up through their advertising they are assigned to the next existing member in the rotation.
HOW THE SYSTEM ACTUALLY WORKS
Bigorilla is a 8 year old company that provides leads and networking tools and is a mix between a binary and 2 x 15 matrix. All the recruiting for Bigorilla goes through 2 people, Linda Acosta, a recruitment specialist and the founder of RIOY, Karl Green. Between those two, they recruit about 200 people a month and that money is trickled down to the members of RIOY. Currently, members of RIOY should receive about $20 after the first month and that will cover your monthly $19.95 cost. From what I have been reading, each member will see a growth in the income from Bigorilla, by about $20 a month.
As your income increases, the “quick income” specialist will contact members about additional “quick income” programs. The “quick income” programs should eventually earn you several thousand dollars a month.
TrafficWave is another established company that provides tools for network marketers such as autoresponders, adtrackers, advertising co-ops, etc. The back office and training materials are pretty extensive as well. This is the core program and takes longer to build but from what I can tell from my research, the cost of the program monthly, $17.95, is usually covered after the first 2 months. These sign ups are assigned to you so this happens for you without recruiting. Personally, I will do all the advertising I can to expedite this process! The literature states that it is quite possible to makes thousands a month from TrafficWave after a few years.
In about six months, the founders will introduce you to another core program after you are in profit and ready to truly increase your income.
Now I am going to see for myself. I have had 6 leads in 5 days, which is pretty amazing if you really haven’t even started your advertising campaign.
THE GUARANTEE
I have to admit, the guarantee is kind of funny. If you are not making $4000 a month within a year, the founder will give you a lifetime membership to a “travel club” of sorts where you will have access to over one thousand 3 and 4 star condos. With this membership, you can stay at any of these places for one week a year for $200 for the week.
So this is the story as I see it. It sounds promising to me but I will definitely keep people informed of my progress.

I wrote my first article after following a writer’s advice on how to write articles. Today I want to share with you few simple steps that you can follow as well to write your first article and send it out to a publisher.
The first thing that you need to know about writing is that you do not need to sound like the CEO of a company to write a good article. Write as if you were talking to a friend using simple easy to understand language, and write about a topic that you know well. In other words don’t write about cooking if you can’t cook. Try to write rather short easy to understand sentences rather than long running ones.
As you write always remember, your topic shouldn’t glorify yourself, but educate others, and keep in mind that what is important about your article is its quality, not so much its quantity. The content of the article is more important than its length. I try to keep my articles between 300 and 700 words. If the subject demands it, however, it’s ok to go a little over.
Just use your discernment and you will be fine.
The headline of your article is very important. If your headline is vague people won’t read your article. It’s as simple as that. Choose a simple and specific title that describes exactly what you wrote about.
At this point you might be thinking: “I don’t know what to write about!” Here is a tip for you. Go to some book websites and search any given subject that you might be familiar with like for example: Tennis, Marketing, Business, Home improvement, gardening, Personal development etc…the list is infinite. Choose a subject that interest you or that you may already be pretty familiar with, take ideas from what has already been written and add your own experience and thoughts. If you just do this, you will have a written piece before you know it.
Make sure you article has an introduction and a conclusion which will make the material clearer and easier to read.
You should first write your article on Microsoft word or something of the kind. Once you have written your article find a good title that represents the article well, and write a 3 to 5 lines that will let the reader know what your article is about.
Your article should be free of spelling and grammar errors. Publishers won’t accept to publish your article if they find spelling or grammar errors. So especially if you have a tendency to typo you need to do a few proof readings before you submit your article. Something that I found efficient for me is not to submit my article the same day I write it. If you come back to it the next day you will read your article with fresh eyes and any mistake will pop up.
Remember that computer’s spell checks correct only some errors not all of them. I worked for two years as a Legal Assistant and I’ve got some paralegal training where we were always reminded that computers don’t correct differences between words like: Their and there, who’s and whose, your and you’re, two and too, than and then, and so forth. Remember also that if you write “article” instead of “articles” sometimes the spell check of your computer will let that go as well
Once you are done with your writing you will need to look for formatter’s directories to format your article. Never send an article that is not formatted. They are a lot of text formatters out there, and you can find them with a simple Google search. Just type “text formatter” on the search box. Once you’ve found one that you like just stick to it so you won’t lose any more time than necessary just to format your article. When you have your formatter page ready just copy your article from your document page, past it on the formatter space and click on format. Your article will be formatted automatically and you will see your word count, character count and line count.
Once your article is formatted you need to go to a publisher’s site like EzineArticles.com for example.
On the publisher’s site go to “submit article” and fill out your information like name, address etc… for your registration, then you will be asked to fill out the information about your article which is the title, 3 Key words for search engines, a 2-3 lines that will briefly introduce your article, and finally the article itself. At this time you will need to copy your article from the formatter and past it on the publisher’s site.
At the bottom of your article you will be asked to write a presentation of yourself in your author resource box. This should be used to introduce yourself and what you are achieving. It should be about 3-4 lines and have your website link.
Now you’re done! Just click on “submit article”. If your article is accepted you will receive an email within 2-7 days from the publisher letting you know that your article has been published.
Even though I have been writing most of my life I found article writing to be a rewarding way of sharing my knowledge and I have been enjoying it tremendously for the past year and a half. So go ahead, follow these simple steps and share your knowledge with others. You won’t regret you did.
