The Reverse Funnel System - Is It Worth It

I have been investigating some of the travel opportunity programs lately because travel has always been a passion of mine (I lived overseas for about 6 years) and I wanted to find something that would give me an income opportunity as well as discount travel.
I have been looking into the Reverse Funnel System which directly markets The Global Resorts Network. I’ve been checking into forum posts on this system and I continue to find people who are making a real success of this program.
The Reverse Funnel System is the brainchild of Ty Coughlin who is a very successful internet marketer and has created this system to level out the playing field for all affiliates from Newbies to the more experienced marketer. The RFS has a 100% proven training program with all the tools one would need to get started and learn the business. There is everything from pre-written ads to a marketing co-op to get people started in this business. The fact is this guy has done this and its not a scam, though I will admit I’m not a big fan of the ad by the beach in the lounge chair. I think it takes away from the credibility but he’s a millionaire and I’m not so I won’t take that away from him.
The Global Resorts Network is a discount travel company with resorts all over the world. I checked into this company as well and read a few blogs documenting people’s experiences with this company. I thought I invented that idea!!! There are no blackout dates for reservations and apparently the customer service is out of this world. I read a blog post that someone was trying to make reservations for New Year’s at a popular ski resort the last minute and the customer service people were calling him all day trying to find some kind last minute opening. In the end, he couldn’t get a reservation but was very impressed with the representative’s tenacity. You can beat that.
The selling point for GRN is that you will most definitely save at least a few hundred dollars if not more for each trip you choose. Most people have claimed they saved more using GRN rather than Expedia or Priceline! That’s a big deal because I am a huge www.priceline.com fan and have used them for many vacation packages.
I can’t forget the main selling point of GRN….the pay plan. If you are a Platinum member (pricey but may be worth it) you make $1000 commission on every sale. It costs $3000 to be a Platinum member but I personally know of someone who made a sale in her first week. You also make commissions from affiliate product sales. It can pay for itself quickly because the payouts are so good.
So am I ready to pay the $3000 to make this program work….not sure yet. I can see the potential here and some very credible people in this industry are jumping on the bandwagon. This program is now being promoted by Stone Evans with The Plug In Profit Site program. Honestly, that says a lot. Stone and the Plug In Profit site program is how I learned all about this business and I respect the choices he makes as an extremely successful business man.
I am teetering and will do more investigating. I will check back on the blogs I found that documented their progress with the program. I do want to add that I firmly believe that you do have to spend some money to make money. It is the only way to make things happen.

I recently started a home business and have seen some very interesting changes since I began with The Plug In Profit Site program about 5 months ago. Now the newer programs are using a portion of their monthly fees to do the advertising for the affiliates.
Take The Berry Tree. It costs about $55 a month for the 02 product (which will soon be The Berry Greens Boost). It really is the advertising that you are paying for though. The great thing about it is your monthly costs are reduced by $7 after the first 2 month, $14 after the first four and so on. Pretty soon, you are not paying a monthly fee and the rest is profit. Please take into account this is if you are not doing anything to promote and are just paying the bill.
With The RIOY (Retire In One Year) System, the advertising is done for you by the RIOY marketing people and you pay for that. You enroll in 2 affiliate programs and you get leads and sign ups right away. I can attest to that because I had leads the first day I signed up.
These programs are absolutely perfect for people who are new to internet marketing because they will get the results without having to do much work. While they are starting to earn from these programs, the novice can start researching and reading and learning the ropes.
If someone joins a program like RIOY or The Berry Tree and they know about internet marketing or all ready have a home business, then the success in these programs will happen more quickly. With The Berry Tree I am almost completely in profit and with The RIOY system I won’t be paying for my first month with Traffic Wave because I have a sign up. What could be better than that?
I honestly believe these programs are the wave of the future for the newer generation of home business owners. You just have to choose the right one.
Do your research on forums, ripoff reports and blogs about all these programs before you sign up. Make sure there is some type of guarantee. Then dive right in!

I’ve been a member of the Plug In Profit Site program since August, 2007. I wanted to start a home business but had absolutely no marketing experience. I had no idea what types of businesses were available and what type of skills were needed to make a home business successful.
I researched many programs and even signed up for a couple of the less costly ones in order to see what was actually being offered. Most programs offered a website and a backoffice where you can gain access to “training” materials. As a complete novice, much of this information was not helpful because I didn’t know how to put a banner on my website and I had no clue about HTML except for the fact that I heard of it before. The vocabulary used in the “training”material was confusing and I found that I was becoming too easily frustrated. To compound problems, I didn’t feel I had a support system or a means of finding support.
I don’t think my experience was unusual and I believe this is a common frustration amongst many people who join affiliate programs. They come in with a certain excitement and will leave shortly afterwards because there is no support.
It does not have to be that way. When I joined the Plug In Profit Site program, I immediately knew it was different. It came with a 30-day training and when you sign up for Host4Profit, you automatically get a free subscription to The Warrior Forum, one of the best forums available to ask any question and get a well-informed answer.
The 30-day program includes many freebies because the founder of “PIP’s”, Stone Evans, is an enormously successful marketer and has many connections. Besides the freebies, the 30-day program literally takes you step-by step with the assumption that you are a complete novice to internet marketing and need all the help you can get.
Some of the helpful topics covered are article writing and article submission, blogging, using forums and the proper protocol, getting to know your autoresponder, tracking your ads, ways to advertise for free and much more. The important thing to remember here is this is all written for the newbies. It could not be explained more directly and truly helps the novice get over the initial fears of starting a home business.
I have since branched out to another program that I believe in called The Berry Tree. The most exciting part is that I have started my own training program and have all the knowledge to do it.
